Frequently Asked Questions

How does your Harvest Share program work?
With our Harvest Share program (also known as Community-Supported Agriculture [CSA]) you pay a set fee every week (or every other week, if you prefer), and in return you receive fresh produce from the farm during the entire harvest season (generally June to October*). In short, you get up to 20 weeks of fresh, local, organic vegetables at a reasonable cost! Signing up is easy! Just visit our Place an Order page and select "Order a Harvest Share basket" in the Vegetable Order Form. Next, decide how often you want to receive a basket (whether every week or every other week), fill in your contact information, and that's it! We'll harvest your order and pack it for pick-up or delivery.**

What vegetables will I get in my basket?
Here's a list of the veggies we're growing for the 2013 farming season:
Beans, Beets, Broccoli, Cabbage, Carrots, Celery, Cucumbers, Eggplant, Garlic, Green Onions, Lettuce, Onions, Peas, Sweet (Bell) Peppers, Potatoes, Spinach, Swiss Chard, Tomatoes, and Zucchini.
Check our Harvest Calendar or subscribe to our weekly newsletter to see which vegetables we expect to harvest each week.

How big is the basket?
Big enough that you'll get enough veggies to last an average-sized family (say, two adults & two children) one week.

How much does a basket cost?
The price varies depending on the month, as we harvest more vegetables as the season progresses:
May to June - $20/basket
July to October - $25/basket

How do I order?
Visit our Place an Order page. It's quick and easy!

* Certain vegetables will also be available during the winter/off-season on a pick-and-choose basis.
